One class at a time.....

Welcome to the second newsletter from Baby Steps Fitness. It has been an amazing first week, Mum and baby and Mum and toddler classes started in Lee and Greenwich last week. It was so lovely to meet so many new people and meet all your gorgeous babies.

It was amazing to see the babies and children enjoying the toys and getting to know the lovely Erika (my helper). I think it's so important to meet new Mummies and for the babies to interact with each other. I love that at our Horn Park venue in lee we have the facility to stay and have a tea/coffee and a chat after. It was lovely to get to know you all after the class.

If you enjoyed my class then why not bring along a friend for free. If your friend likes the class and comes back then I will offer your next class for free. (If you have paid for a block of 5 I will add an extra class on to the end of your block)
Also working out with friends is a great aid to your motivation. Workout and see good friends what could be better :-)

When can I start exercising?


The general advice is that Mums who have had a natural vaginal delivery with no complications can resume gentle/ low impact exercise such as walking as soon as they feel ready. It's recommended that you wait until after your 6 week check and speak to your doctor/health care professional before starting any higher impact exercise such as aerobics.
Mums who had a Caesarian delivery or any complications should wait for 8-12 weeks and always check with their doctor or health care professional before starting any form of exercise.
