The benefits of a warm up before starting to exercise;
There are many benefits to a warm up, it’s a great way to prepare the body and mind for the exercise session ahead.
It’s a way of creating awareness of good exercise technique and movement control. It can help to improve posture by focusing on the position of your body.
It’s a way of starting to explore the full range of movement of all the major joints and reduce stiffness and tension.
It helps to increase blood flow, oxygenation of the muscles and body temperature. It reduces the risk of injury.
It’s also a great way to introduce the choreography that will be in the main workout at a slower pace so you can enjoy your workout and not be concerned about what your hands and feet are doing.
