Side-lying Leg Lift
This is a simple and effective exercise to strengthen your core, buttocks and hip flexors.
Lie on the right side your body with your ankles one on top of the other. Use your right hand to support your head and place your left hand on the floor in front of you to help you stabilize.
Keeping your spine aligned, use the muscles of your core and upper legs to lift your feet. Keep your feet stacked and keep your legs in line with your back.
Pause for a couple of seconds at the top of the movement before slowly lowering your feet back down to the ground. Slow controlled movements on the way up and down.
Repeat 5-10 times on your right side before swapping to your left side.
